Starting off the night was the talent portion of the competition. Miss Veterans Day’s Outstanding Teen Baylee Bosma, of Vernon, stood out from the usual dance and vocal talents by playing the ukulele, as did Miss Northern Lakes’ Outstanding Teen Angelica Lynn Disanza, of Lebanon, who played the harp.
Brynn took home the talent award for her vocals, and the interview award.
Miss North Jersey’s Outstanding Teen Shelby Ritterson, of Mantua, was named first runner-up and Miss Northern Lakes’ Outstanding Teen Angelica Lynn Disanza, of Lebanon, was the second runner-up.
By becoming Miss New Jersey’s Outstanding Teen 2019, Brynn will receive a $4,500 scholarship and will compete for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen this summer in Orlando, Florida.
