Ludhiana: The citizens turned up in large numbers to participate in a cycle rally organised to advocate the need for promoting fitness and environment-friendly modes of transport in India. The rally was organized to mark the opening of the 9th India International Cycle, Fitness & Outdoor Sports Expo at the Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) on Friday.

More than 100 cycling and fitness enthusiasts pedalled their way for 15 km to raise awareness on following healthy and active lifestyles and reducing our carbon footprint by adopting bicycles in our daily lives. The rally was flagged off from PAU by Pankaj M Munjal of Hero Motors Company and the participants rode their bikes till Sukhmani enclave and back to PAU.
